Files
Can you 3D print my STL file?
Yes. Upload it and the price shows in seconds. PLA, up to 250 × 250 × 250 mm.
Which file types and units do you accept?
STL, 3MF and STEP, up to 100 MB, in millimeters. If your part looks 25 times too small, it was exported in inches.
Can I see a price without making an account?
Yes. There are no accounts. You only enter details at checkout.
Price
How much does it cost to 3D print something?
$3.50 setup + 4.5¢ a gram + 60¢ a print hour + postage. Delivered: small bracket $9.42, divided box $12.18, organizer tray $18.93.
Is there a minimum order or setup fee?
No minimum and no separate fees. Every print price includes $3.50 for setup and packing.
Does the price include shipping and tax?
Shipping (USPS Ground Advantage) is its own line on the quote. Sales tax is added at checkout where required.
Delivery
How long does it take, and how fast do you ship?
Ships in 3-5 days by USPS Ground Advantage. Rush (+50% of the print price) gets it printed within 1 business day; it ships with the same USPS service.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the US, by USPS Ground Advantage from Jacksonville, Florida.
Materials
What materials and colors do you print, and which should I choose?
PLA for now. Good for indoor parts; it softens around 55 °C, so not for hot cars or strong sun. Stocked colors coming soon. Other colors on request.
What's the largest part you can print?
250 × 250 × 250 mm in one piece. Split anything bigger.
What we make
Can you print a replacement for a broken part?
Yes, if you have a 3D file. No safety-critical, food-contact or medical parts.
Can you make something if I don't have a 3D model?
Yes. Describe it at mandarin3d.com/design: the AI designer draws the part, you adjust it, then see the price and order. For anything bigger, email orders@mandarin3d.com to work with a designer.
Can I order 20 nameplates with different names?
Yes. Email the names to orders@mandarin3d.com. You approve a proof before we print. Prices for 1, 10, 20 and 50 come with the catalog.
Orders
What happens if a part arrives broken or doesn't print right?
All sales are final, but we fix our mistakes: wrong color or quantity, defects, shipping damage or loss. Email photos within 7 days of delivery (3 days for shipping damage). We reprint or credit it. Problems from the file aren't covered.
Who can see my file, and when is it deleted?
Only us and the printer making it. We never publish, sell or train AI on files. We delete it once your order is done. The exact window is posted before launch.
